We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on Test Technician to join our Prototype test team on a permanent contract, based at our Welwyn Garden City development centre. As our Test Technician you'll be required to execute, monitor, and report on software and hardware tests to aid in further developing our Ocado Smart Platform system.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete specific product development testing
• Testing and prototype commissioning of components including: Bin, Grid Bots, Service Area, Peripherals.
• Reporting test results and detail findings/defects to allow development teams to resolve issues
• Working with Technology Project Managers and Engineering Project Managers on specific testing of new components
• Out of hours support when required to support site and testing programs
• Work towards departmental and project deadlines
• Tools or measuring equipment use might be required as an element of hardware testing activity.
