Salary: £290 - £310/day

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical systems for a large-scale commercial project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management experience, and a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the mechanical scope of commercial projects from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

* Develop detailed project schedules and ensure mechanical work is completed within deadlines.

* Oversee budgeting and cost control to ensure the project stays within financial limits.

* Supervise and manage mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.

* Review mechanical designs, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

* Resolve technical and construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

* Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

* Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, or similar role on large-scale commercial projects.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems.

* Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.).

* Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and scheduling.

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

* PMP, LEED, or other project management certifications are a plus.
