Your new companyI am currently looking for a School Finance Officer, located in Sheffield. The leadership team create a supportive environment to allow both pupils and staff to develop. The school are looking for someone to join their forward-looking team as soon as possible.Your new roleThis will be a full-time role, maintaining the school's financial management system. You will support the business manager with everything related to processing income and expenditure of the school. This will all be completed in Welsh. Day to day activities can include:Process weekly BACS runUpdate income registersProcess invoicesProduce purchase ordersReconcile bank statementsAssist with the preparation and submission of statutory reports as required, for example, VAT reports or reconciliations to the local authority.Prepare reports for the head teacher and governors.What you'll need to succeedYou must have previous school finance experience and a DBS check on the update service is ideal. You will be able to use SIMS and FMS. What you'll get in returnThis is an opportunity to work with a fantastic Sheffield school within a MAT. The school will be looking for support on a long term basis with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.£15-£18 p/hour dependent on experience.
