The General Manager will be working for a fast growing retail business headquartered in Manchester looking to grow is traditional retail and ecommerce operations

Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department
• Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans
• Manage budgets and introduce metrics to drive the operations side of the business
• Ensure compliance with regulations and advise the business on supply chain best practice
• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing logistics team
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes
• Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
• Stay informed about industry standards and implement improvements for the business

Profile

A successful General Manager will have:

• Working experience as a leader within the Logistics experience
• Ecommerce and/or retail industry experience is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of introducing logistics and supply chain processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Offer

• A competitive salary in the region of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
