Sutton Recruitment are working exclusively to recruit a permanent Planning Manager for a leading manufacturing group of businesses who specialises in the production of innovative manufactured products.

Role Overview
As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating production schedules, ensuring that project deadlines are met efficiently.

You will work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Production, and Commercial teams to develop an effective factory plan that aligns with delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage workflow plans to meet project delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with Project Management to establish production schedules based on required delivery dates.
• Align production planning with procurement and commercial teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate project changes and factory capacity.
• Utilise MS Excel and other planning tools to track and optimise production performance.
• Optimise throughput based on work-study criteria previously set
• Experience in developing recovery plans.
• Experience in managing sub-contractors in parallel to projects going through the main facility

Requirements
• Experience in a precast planning role (preferential)
• Experience in planning in a process manufacturing facility
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and scheduling
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively across departments
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing production requirements

• £35,000.00 - £40,000.00 salary
• 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
• Nest Pension; 3% client, 5% employee

To be suitable for this role, you must have a full driving license and your own vehicle to begin with due to the client locations.
The candidate may be provided with use of company pool vehicle for external meetings but should own his/her own car to get to work.
