Description of the Role:
Simply Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Salford, Greater Manchester. This full-time position involves teaching mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a focus on helping students build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on students' mathematical education in a vibrant, inclusive school. Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback to help students improve and develop their skills.
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel motivated and confident to participate.
Implement a range of teaching strategies to cater for different learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students are engaged and progressing.
Monitor and track student performance, identifying and addressing areas of concern to ensure all students reach their full potential.
Promote high standards of behavior, respect, and effort in all lessons, fostering a positive atmosphere for learning.
Work closely with colleagues in the mathematics department and across the school to share best practices and develop effective teaching resources.
Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular assessments and reports.
Regularly communicate with parents and carers to update them on their child's progress and provide support where needed.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to continue your professional growth.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
A strong understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methods.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
A passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
