A prestigious, top 10 global accounting firm based in Central London are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Audit Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile clients within the asset management, hedge funds, and private equity sectors.

This role would suit someone with RI status who is currently at Audit Director level and is looking to step up into a Partner role. The firm work with a significant number of listed organisations so experience of reporting under IFRS is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Audit Leadership: Lead and oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth strategy.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the firm's goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of audit quality, utilizing best practices and innovative approaches.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional Certification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading audit teams and managing client relationships at a senior level.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
