Location: Shrewsbury

Pay Rate: £13.50 p/h

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:45

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent for right candidate)

Are you a skilled welder/fabricator looking for your next challenge? Igloo is seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our client's team in Shrewsbury. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of materials and techniques in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing:

* Utilise MIG and TIG welding techniques to weld various materials, such as aluminium and steel.

* Form sections and panels through the use of press brakes.

* Assist in the final assembly of new bodies to vehicle chassis.

* Perform repairs on existing vehicle bodies and structures.

* Assist in the fitting of repaired vehicle components, including tipping gears and hydraulic equipment.

* Ensure that all work is completed in line with Health and Safety legislation.

What we need from you:

* Skilled welder, with a proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.

* An appropriate welding qualification would be beneficial.

* The right attitude and willingness to learn.

* Experience using press brake machinery.

* Ability to produce precise results by accurately interpreting diagrams and drawings.

* Previous fabrication experience essential.

* Excellent health and safety awareness.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

* Full driving licence.

* Good time management skills.
