£50,000 (Salary increases to £56,000 with training plan)

Our client is a leading food processing & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality, which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, electrically biased to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production & packaging machinery
Carry out PPM's, reactive maintenance & project work
Working on conveyors, robotics, high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery
Mechanical - gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives, pneumatics, pumps, valves
Electrical - control panels, motors, sensors, contactors, relays
PLC - electrical fault finding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - electrically biased
Flexible to work call out rota on some Sunday day times - paid retainer and enhanced wage rate
PLC - electrical fault finding
Have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
NVQ Level 3 engineering or higher
Ideally have completed a time-served-apprenticeship
18th Edition beneficial
Previously worked on high-speed production & packaging machinery
Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics experience
Knowledge of BRC or HACCP would be beneficial
