Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am, 3 nights per week on a weekly rota including weekends

The role…

As the Manufacturing Shift Manager - Nights your role will involve the following important duties:

Manage all operations to ensure KPI targets and business objectives are met at a tactical level
Oversee production to meet cost, quality, delivery and safety targets
Drive performance, productivity improvements and develop machine and staff utilisation in order to lower cost per unit
Review and develop continuous improvement, working on various projects to improve efficiency and safety.
As the most Senior Manager on site you will also deal with escalated issues as appropriate
Work closely with other Manufacturing Shift Managers to improve efficiency and continuity
The experience required…

As a successful Manufacturing Shift Manager - Nights you will have the following:

At least 5 years' Management experience within a high volume manufacturing or warehouse environment,  managing teams and production.
Proven track record of  driving performance, quality and safety
Proven knowledge of Continuous Improvement & Lean Principles with evidence of successful projects 
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would be ideal.
Strong IT Skills with intermediate Excel and exposure to Warehouse Management Systems
Driven, dynamic approach to management and continuous improvement with the strength to self-motivate and deal with escalated issues.
