Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Location: Henley-on-Thames

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a well-established law firm?

Due to an increase in workload, our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional to support its growing Conveyancing team in Henley-on-Thames.

The Role:

As a Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors with a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Conveyancing Solicitors with all aspects of property transactions
• Handling pre- and post-completion tasks, including:
  • Registering transactions with HM Land Registry
  • Paying stamp duty to HMRC
  • Serving notices to landlords
  • Managing requisitions and file closures
• Preparing legal correspondence and documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals
• Managing file administration, scanning and archiving

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in conveyancing, ideally within pre- or post-completion processes. This role would suit:

• A Conveyancing Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Post-Completion Assistant looking to develop their career
• A Legal Secretary with experience in property transactions
• A Solicitor or Legal Executive with previous conveyancing exposure seeking a supporting role
