Façade Manager / Externals Manager - Finchley - Immediate

New build apartments + commercial
This project requires a permanent, experienced Façade Manager / Externals Manager. The £16m scheme comprises 20+ apartments with commercial space below, and the client is using the space as their Headquarters, so is a high end fit out in the commercial area.

The Façade Manager / Externals Manager would be looking after SFS, brickwork, stonework, balconies, flat roof and scaffolding packages. The project is a tight space logistically; crane through the middle of the job and deliveries are challenging - so needs a good problem solver.

Reporting to a Project Manager.

Current stage: Frame tops out in about 4 weeks' time

Duration: March / April 2026

Start: ASAP

Salary: circa £75,000 - £80,000 (negotiable)

Role consists of but not limited to:
Liaising with the Façade and externals Sub-Contractors regards the planning of the works, coordination of the façade / externals packages with other interfacing contractors, monitoring and recording progress, involved in design workshops and progress meetings on a regular basis, along with Quality Control, QA, Design, H&S and logistics.

What they are looking for in a Façade Manager / Externals Manager:
• Have held a position of (and be a proven) Façade Manager / Externals Manager on schemes upwards of £20m (not an all-rounder who has done some façade roles)
• Time spent with previous employers
• Come from either a main contracting (ideally with new build Resi - high-end would be appealing), or a reputable residential developer on new build apartments (or hotels, high-end student accommodation) or specialist façade sub-contractor background.
