Academics are working with a 'good' school in Canvey Island who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant. This is a long-term role due to commence in as soon as possible. There is the possibility that this role will turn permanent for the right candidate who displays dedication and exceptional skills to help student's progress and achieve their best. You will be working with wonderful KS2 students to help them with their understanding of the Maths, ENglish and Science lessons.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new school, or you are a graduate looking to gain experience, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities within the role:

Raising the attinment of each students understanding in their core subjects
Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to
