HR Advisor (6-Month FTC)

Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking to contribute to key HR functions and support a group of care homes. Position:HR Advisor (6-Month FTC)

Location:Hybrid (Occasional travel to care homes required)

Salary:£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro-rata, depending on experience)

Job Type: 6 month Fixed-Term Contract (with view to extension/permanent)

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Manage recruitment across multiple care homes, including overseeing Indeed and Care Friends systems to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Absence Management: Provide support with absence management, including OH referrals, drafting invite letters for absence reviews, and liaising with care homes.
1st Line ER Support: Handle first-line employee relations (ER) queries from across the 8 homes, offering guidance and advice.
Apprenticeships: Submit new apprenticeship applications, manage the government portal, and maintain regular contact with learners to ensure compliance and support.
Data Collation: Regularly gather HR data from the homes for various reports and tasks.
Meeting Support: Attend meetings as required and take accurate notes to support decision-making.
Project Work: Assist with HR projects that align with the overall business strategy.Requirements:
Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (preferred but not essential).
Strong experience in HR advisory roles, ideally within a care or multi-site environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Confident in handling employee relations queries and providing first-line support.
Proficient in managing recruitment processes and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional travel to care homes.
Previous experience with an elderly care provider is preffered but not essential.What Our Client Offers:
