Quantity Surveyor (Facades)
Location: Basildon (Office) / Brighton (Site)
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 inclusive of package

My client is a leading Facades company headquartered in Basildon, boasting a £(phone number removed) turnover and a robust order book through to the end of next year. Specialising in large-scale rainscreen cladding and facade projects, they deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for major developments across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facades to join the dynamic team and oversee an exciting project valued at £(phone number removed)—a joint venture at the University of Sussex. This involves managing 22 high-rise rainscreen cladding installations.

The Role:

* Location Split:

* On-site in Brighton: 3 days per week.

* Office-based in Basildon: 2 days per week.

* Responsibilities:

* Full commercial management of the University of Sussex project.

* Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management.

* Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring profitability.

* Managing project budgets and preparing regular financial reports.

* Liaising with site teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You:
We're looking for a confident, proactive QS with a proven background in facades. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to effectively manage large-scale projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
