Job Description:

As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and development of offshore and subsea equipment. This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring involvement throughout the project lifecycle—from understanding client requirements to design, development, installation, testing, and customer acceptance. You will also provide after-sales support and assist with documentation and training as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

* Designing and developing electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for offshore and subsea equipment.

* Creating CAD-based system diagrams, wiring schematics, and detailed engineering data.

* Sizing and selecting power system components, cables, and other equipment.

* Integrating subsea surveillance, vision, and lighting systems.

* Preparing functional design specifications, risk assessments, and FMEA/FMECA analysis.

* Supporting factory tests and occasional offshore or international travel.

* Producing commissioning, testing, and user documentation, as well as training materials.

Skills & Experience:

To excel as an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will need:

* A BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong practical background.

* Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD; knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is a bonus.

* Experience in designing to meet client specifications on time and within budget.

* Familiarity with machinery safety standards (BS EN 60204, BS EN 13849, and BS EN ISO 13850:2015).

* Knowledge of network and communication systems such as RS485, MODBUS, and Ethernet protocols.

* A proactive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
