We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in a children's residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in childcare and leadership to contribute to the growth and development of both the young people in our care and the team around them. Reporting to the registered manager, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting young people's welfare in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.

* Lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality care in line with Ofsted standards.

* Develop care plans and ensure they are tailored to the individual needs of each child.

* Promote a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

* Assist with staff training, supervision, and development.

* Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and other professionals.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

What We're Looking For:

* A minimum of two years experience working with children in a residential setting.

* A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); willingness to work towards Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.

* Strong leadership and management skills.

* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

* Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people.
