Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit for an experienced SENCO for a Primary School in Southeast Birmingham. This is a part time position (3 days a week) to start in January 2025 candidates who are free sooner will also be considered. This will be a supply role initially however could be temp to perm for the right person. This will be a class based role - including interventions as required. CONTRACT DETAILS Location - South Birmingham Position - Primary SENCO Type of work - SENCO in a primary school Contract or position start date - Jan 2025 Duration / Likely Duration - Temp to Perm Contract or likely end date - Temp to Perm Contract type - Temp to Perm Full time/part time - Part Time - 3 days Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP160 Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings and meetings as required EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent + National SENCO award Experience in a supply long term or permanent role Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
