Are you enthusiastic about working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience working in a Special Needs School as a Teaching assistant, or have you other experience supporting children with behavioural difficulties? ROLE

We currently require a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our books to undertake a full-time permanent position starting September 2024 running for the academic year in a school based in Huyton.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Being willing and able to support classes of primary aged children, helping to managing behaviour in line with school policies

- Support individual or groups of students

- Engaging with the pupils and keeping them on task, assisting with queries where possible

- Dealing with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

As the successful candidate you will have:

- a strong knowledge of working with SEN Pupils

- experience working in a SEN setting.

- strong work ethic and a professional attitude
