My client, a specialist subcontractor to the construction sector, is seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer for its Built Environment division.
As an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with a sound knowledge of MEP projects you will be responsible for the follwoing ;-
Perform design calculations • Create MEP system drawings • Write system specifications • Attend meetings with the design team. • Write feasibility reports • Attend site from time to time to physically look at installations on behalf of the client or the company. • Learn to manage projects. • From time to time require professional training to gain qualifications required of the job
You will be an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with a knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health design along with experience of Part L compliance calculations and issuing lodgement of EPCs on different projects.
A sound knwoledge of IT systems including AutoCad and relevant qualification BSc Mech Eng and accreditations such as CIBSE, IET or IMechE are highly desirable.
