About Us:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our clients team in Cardiff. This role focuses on larger-scale education and healthcare projects, offering the opportunity to work on complex, impactful schemes within these vital sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage mechanical teams on-site, ensuring efficient and safe operations at all stages of the project.

* Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems in education and healthcare facilities.

* Ensure compliance with all mechanical regulations, health and safety standards, and project specifications.

* Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

* Provide guidance and support to mechanical staff, ensuring all team members work to the highest standards.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, addressing any technical issues or concerns promptly.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally with a background in large education and healthcare projects.

* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, regulations, and health and safety standards.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.

* Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, etc.) and a valid CSCS card.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
