Are you an experienced HR Systems and Data professional ready to make a real impact? Chiltern Railways is looking for a proactive and innovative HR Systems and Data Analyst to manage, develop, and support our HR information systems. In this role, you'll provide vital workforce insights, champion system improvements, and ensure compliance with data security and GDPR standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems Management
- Drive the development and integration of HR systems, offering training and guidance to stakeholders.
- Maximise system utilisation through automation and efficient process management (e.g., pay awards, increments).
- Lead on upgrades, module changes, and system testing to ensure seamless implementation.
- Ensure system security and compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Produce and interpret accurate and timely workforce reports and KPIs.
- Provide insights on trends in areas like retention, absence, and appraisals.
- Identify and address information gaps, offering actionable recommendations.
- Support business planning by generating data for surveys and regulatory reporting.
General HR Support
- Act as a superuser for iTrent, PowerBI, and Empactis, troubleshooting issues and empowering others through training.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Innovate and recommend improvements to HR processes and data presentation.
What We're Looking For:
- Essential:
- 2+ years' experience with iTrent and Business Objects.
- Expertise in PowerBI, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and data analysis.
- Proven track record as a system superuser and first point of contact.
- Strong data management and reporting skills.
- Desirable:
- Familiarity with Empactis.
- Experience with audits and improvement planning.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Innovative, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to fluctuating workloads.
- Strong communicator with training and presentation experience.
