Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s team of specialists, delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions across the UK and internationally.
The RoleAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the design and consultancy of Electrical Building Services for key projects. You will lead a team of talented design engineers, ensure projects meet high specifications, and play a pivotal role in shaping the business's strategic direction. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design reviews, develop and approve plans, and manage project schedules.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals.
- Mentor team members, ensuring high standards and continuous development.
- Support business growth through networking and representing the company at events.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement company strategies.
- Assist in project reporting, document control, and quality assurance processes.
What You’ll Bring: - Proven experience in mission-critical or similar projects.
- A strong track record in electrical engineering, ideally including leadership and project management.
- Experience of using Amtech, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.
- Knowledge of modern relay technology metering and the IEC 61850 protocol (desirable).
- MV/HV experience or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
