Your responsibilities

* Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students remain engaged and succeed

* Help students develop independence by implementing routines

* Teaching social skills within a structured setting

* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing educational experience

The essentials

* Previous experience working within a school, particularly with children who have diverse needs

* Knowledge and understanding of how autism may present and strategies to support these students.

* A compassionate approach, with patience and understanding

* An enhanced DBS, because safety for students always comes first

* A relevant qualification in teaching and learning
