The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Art & DT Teacher, as Head of Art & DT, who will have the aim of raising attainment, to lead the department.

• Head of Art & DT

• Leading Art & DT across KS3, KS4, & KS5

• Setting the standards and leading from the front

• Raising attainment across the Art & DT Department

• Full time and permanent position - September start

• Inner London pay scale

• FOR A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATE – LEADERSHIP PAY SCALE IS AN OPTION!!!

• MPS3 – UPS3 + TLR 2C

• Located in the Borough of Haringey

PERSON SPECIFICATION – Head of Art & DT

• Must hold UK QTS

• Strong academic background in GCSEs, A Levels and Degree

• Ambitious and driven personality

• Pro – active approach

• An advocate for your subject

• Able to teach Art & DT to a high calibre, with KS5 teaching experience

• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations

• Experience of leading a team or managing members of staff ideal
