Company description:
We are working with an established company who specialise in FMCG & Processing industry. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and are offering between circa £44,000.
Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Maintain conveyor systems and all high-speed plant machinery
* Attending to reactive breakdowns
* Get machines back up and running in a timely manner
* Electrical fault finding and repairs
* Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns
Skills and experience required as a Maintenance Technician:
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs for machinery
* Performed maintenance on high-speed machinery
* Electrical qualification - NVQ, HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or Apprenticeship trained
