Reinsurance Product Owner - London - £Competitive

Location: London (2 days per week), Remote (3 days per week)

Finitas have partnered with a leading provider of innovative insurance solutions designed to empower brokers and reinsurance businesses. With a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive efficiency and growth, they are expanding a reinsurance offering and seeking a dynamic Reinsurance Product Owner to join the team.

They are looking for a proactive and inquisitive Reinsurance Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of their reinsurance products. The ideal candidate will take the initiative, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the reinsurance markets.

This role is perfect for an experienced Business Analyst, Product Owner, or project delivery professional with strong Salesforce experience and a background in specialty markets brokerage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of reinsurance product offerings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Gather and prioritise product requirements, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on new product features and updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in project delivery within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the reinsurance markets.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce, including customisation and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with brokers in the specialty markets.
  • Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance software solutions and industry best practices.
