Challenge-trg in partnership with GXO logistics are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for their Newark site.

A fantastic opportunity for ongoing store deliveries and trunking work.

We are looking to fulfill AM + PM shift patterns- to include 1 day over the weekend where ever possible, various shift patterns available;

Tues-Sat,Sun-Thurs,Wed-Sun,4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, mon-fri

Start times:

Various

The Pay Rates for HGV Class 1 Drivers

Days: £18.19 or £20.39
Nights: £19.21 or £21.53
Sat: £20.23 or £22.67
Sun: £21.25 or £23.21

Class 1 HGV Drivers AM + PM

1 day induction required which will be paid on completion:

Minimum of 5 shifts in each week required

What The HGV Class 1 Driver can expect:

Store deliveries and also trunking (mainly nights)
White goods, TV's, Home appliances
Collections and deliveries
Double deckers - steering axle training provided
Average of 3 - 5 deliveries per shift
average shift lengths 10-12 hours
Curtainside and boxed trailers

The Requirements for the HGV class 1 Driver:

A full Class 1 HGV Licence
A valid Drivers CPC Card
A digital tachograph card
A full understanding of WTD legislation
A good geographic knowledge of the UK road network
