Feeling Stuck in Your Current Role? It's Time for a Change

You know that feeling—the one where you've hit a ceiling in your current role. Maybe the challenges don't excite you anymore, or the opportunities for growth just aren't there. You've built up solid experience, but now you're asking yourself, What's next?

This is next. And it's big.

As a leading food manufacturing business, we are on a journey of major growth and transformation. With £30 million committed to Capex investment, the future isn't just bright—it's busy, ambitious, and full of opportunity.

To support this growth, we're looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join the team. This is your chance to step up, take ownership, and play a key role in shaping the future of a fast-growing supply chain.

Why This Role? Why Now?

This isn't just another planning job. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of a company that is expanding fast. You'll ensure that products reach the hands of retailers, foodservice providers, and consumers at exactly the right time, in the right quantities, and with maximum efficiency.

As the business invests heavily in infrastructure, technology, and sustainability, your role will be essential in streamlining operations, optimising production, and keeping everything running smoothly. If you're ready for a challenge, this is the perfect opportunity to grow with a company that is building for the future.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Developing accurate demand forecasts using data insights and market trends

* Aligning supply with demand, optimising production schedules, and reducing waste

* Driving improvements in planning processes and implementing new systems as part of a multi-million-pound investment

* Supporting sustainability initiatives and maintaining high environmental and ethical standards

* Working closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to create a seamless supply chain

What You Need to Bring:

* 3 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain, ideally within food manufacturing

* Strong analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis

* A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you don't just highlight inefficiencies, you help fix them

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders

* A desire to grow and develop in a fast-paced, evolving environment

What's in It for You?:

* £40,000 base salary

* 25 days holiday, rising to 28 with length of service, plus bank holidays

* Income protection and life assurance

* Private medical insurance, with options to cover family members

* Enhanced pension scheme with matched contributions

* Cycle to Work Scheme and retail discounts

* Company events, Christmas shutdown, and free tea and coffee

Most importantly, this is an opportunity to be part of something significant.
