I'm currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a Top 15 firm based in central London. If you come from a strong audit or technical accounting background and are ready to take the next step in your career, then please do read on.

Role Overview:

What you will be doing as a Technical Manager

• Provide expert advice and support to audit and accounting teams on complex technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
• Develop and review technical accounting papers and audit methodologies.
• Deliver technical training to internal teams, enhancing technical knowledge firm-wide.
• Liaise with clients on technical matters and complex accounting issues.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, providing insights to the team on new developments.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in audit or technical accounting, ideally within a professional services firm.
• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical colleagues and clients.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for detail.
