The Role

The successful candidate will:

* Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, with a focus on fostering student engagement and physical fitness.

* Teach a broad and dynamic curriculum, covering team sports, individual fitness, dance, and health education.

* Inspire students to develop confidence, discipline, and resilience through physical activity.

* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the PE curriculum, ensuring inclusive participation for all students.

* Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, including school teams, fitness clubs, and inter-school competitions.

* Work closely with colleagues to promote health and well-being initiatives across the school.

* Monitor student progress and provide guidance to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

* Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong background in Physical Education.

* Have experience teaching PE across all key stages, with a proven ability to engage students of varying skill levels.

* Be passionate about encouraging participation in sports and promoting an active lifestyle.

* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

* Work collaboratively within the PE department to maintain high teaching standards and student achievement.
