I'm currently partnered with a highly impressive Private Equity Backed Leisure Business to secure an Interim Group Financial Controller.
This role is initially offered as a 6-9-month contract, with a competitive day rate ranging from £900 - 1,100 (Outside IR35).

The Role:
This is a pivotal role within the finance team, ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, dynamic environment, with the ability to drive change and strengthen processes across the group.
- Lead the Financial Reporting Process: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards and delivering timely and accurate results.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring compliance with evolving IFRS standards and addressing complex accounting issues.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage a skilled team, including Heads of US and International Controllers, as well as leaders in Consolidation and Technical Accounting, ensuring effective communication and support across the finance function.
- Process Improvement: Proactively improve financial models and systems, ensuring efficient and effective reporting processes that evolve with the business's growth.
- Acquisitions and Growth: Lead the integration of new acquisitions into the reporting process, ensuring seamless financial management across the group's expanding global footprint.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Finance teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business's financial performance and strategic objectives.
Your Profile:
You'll have a strong background in consolidation, technical accounting, and audit management, with the ability to lead and mentor a team across different geographies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead global finance teams to meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IFRS reporting, with a track record of managing complex accounting issues.
