Contek Recruitment are currently working with a reputable precision engineering company, located in Cambridge. Due to continued success and growth, we they are now looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Founded in 2001, the company specialises in delivering precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions into a range of industries, including Medical, Optical, Marine, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, and Scientific.

PAY: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (Depending on experience) - Yearly bonus paid twice per year (June & December).

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (08:00 AM until 16:30 PM) (40 hours per week) - Flexible hours for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Producing precision components for the Medical, Aerospace, Optical, and Marine industries using 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machinery.

* Programming using either Heidenhain or Siemens controls.

* Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards.

* Self-inspection using both manual and digital measuring equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Previous experience within multi-axis CNC milling is required.

* Previous experience programming using Heidenhain or Siemens controls is required.

* A committed and driven approach to work.

* To be able to work unsupervised.
