Role: Electrician - Social Housing Maintenance

Location: South London (Mobile)

Salary: £39,000 - £41,000 (DOE)

About the Role

Spencer & James arerecruiting a skilled Electrician to join a leading Principal Contractor to carry out electrical maintenance to social housing stock in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a position within one of the UK's highest regarded contractors where your career will be valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, renewals, and installations in both occupied and void properties.
• Manage and track work assignments via a PDA device.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism when interacting with residents.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition certification
• Full UK Driver’s License (essential for this mobile role)
• 2391 Testing & Inspection (preferred but not mandatory)
• Proven experience in social housing maintenance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
