Interim Disrepair Manager - Greater Manchester

Day Rate: £450 per day

Location: Greater Manchester

Contract: 3-6 months (potential extension)

Interviews: Commencing this week

I am currently working with a housing association in Greater Manchester that is looking for an Interim Disrepair Manager to oversee their disrepair function and ensure compliance with housing regulations.

Key Requirements:

A viable candidate must have experience within social housing and expertise in the following areas:

Pre-action protocol

Disrepair litigation

Section 11 Landlord & Tenant Act

Section 10 Homes Act (Human Habitation)

Case management and settlement negotiation

Role Overview:

Lead and manage the disrepair process, ensuring legal compliance.

Work closely with legal teams, surveyors, and contractors to resolve claims.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce disrepair cases and improve tenant satisfaction.

Provide leadership and guidance to the repairs and maintenance teams.
