For the successful Operations Manager our client is offering:

£35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum DOE
Days role, 6 am - 3 pm, (Flexibility may be required) Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota
Permanent position
Full-time permanent

The role - Operations Manager:

Responsible for the day-to-day running and organisation of a fleet of trade waste collection vehicles and the operation of the transfer facility ensuring continuity and day-to-day running of all operations on the site
This is a role that will grow as the depot develops to its full potential and commercial presence in the area is strengthened
Manage daily operations at the depot, responsible for vehicles, staffing, operational performance, route efficiency, route planning, and customer service levels.
Ensuring that the site is operated in accordance with legislation, regulatory compliance, operational best practice and all tasks undertaken adhere to site rules.
What our client is looking for in a Operations Manager:

Proven operational management experience in transport/logistics - ESSENTIAL
Must possess a good understanding of cost control and P&L experience
Previous experience with route planning - DESIRABLE 
Knowledge of waste management legislation - DESIRABLE 
Full driving license and flexibility to travel for meetings - ESSENTIAL

Flexible approach to working hours to suit business needs when required 
Key skills or similar Job titles: Depot Manager, Site Manager, Waste Management Manager, Site Lead, Site Supervisor 

Commutable From: Bristol, Avonmouth, Newport, Bath, Gloucester, Swindon
