Management Accountant

£50,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join a leading company in the FMCG industry. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to provide essential financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the efficient financial operation within the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing finance, adept in cost control, and proficient in management reporting.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, support budget preparation, assist in year-end accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Cost & Performance Management: Conduct cost analysis, monitor manufacturing KPIs, and collaborate with teams to enhance cost control.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Manage cash flow and oversee credit control and payment schedules.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies, maintain financial controls, and handle regulatory reporting.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Support the enhancement of finance systems, develop reporting tools, and implement process efficiencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Experience within a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management experience
• Exposure to ERP Systems, Reporting & Automation systems are highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and adept at managing large datasets.
