Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £32000 - £35000/annum

Are you a proactive Fundraising professional with proven success of promoting and boosting charitable initiatives and strategy?

Are you an accomplished high-level networker with the ability to form strong working relationships with a breadth of stakeholders?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to work for a leading and nationally recognised Birmingham based charitable organisation, based on the outskirts of the city.

As a Fundraising Manager, you will work closely with the wider fundraising team to plan and implement strategies to significantly increase corporate and community giving, deliver and monitor the fundraising strategy and identify opportunities for core growth across a number of areas. Being proactive and with bags of initiative, you will actively develop new networks and relationships, responding to fundraising opportunities and taking responsibility for achieving agreed income targets whilst managing set budgets.

Organising, promoting and attending fundraising events and activities will be a key part of your role in this fast-paced Fundraising Manager position, so you will need to be a real “people-person”, comfortable networking and building relationships with corporates and community groups. Utilising a full range of social media, you will promote events throughout the region, always looking for new ways to spread awareness of the charity and the fantastic work it does across the city.

On a day-to-day basis, you will act as the go to person for any fundraising queries on-site, delegating duties and supporting a team of support and administrative staff. Keeping a close eye on upcoming events and fundraising opportunities, you will monitor income targets and regularly update internal systems, communicating updates clearly across the wider fundraising team.

To succeed in this busy and challenging Fundraising Manager role, you will ideally have previous experience working within a charity or in a similar role in Sales or Business Development. You will be a clear and confident communicator, be comfortable promoting and running events and keen to develop your network in the sector. This isn't a 9.00am - 5.00pm position, so commitment, passion and a love of knowing you will make a difference is going to be vital to your success in this role.

In return you will receive an excellent salary and benefits package, with the satisfaction of working for a charity that genuinely changes lives in our region.
