Highly successful Specialist/niche SME manufacturing company require a Management Accountant to undertake a newly created, challenging and varied position based at their offices in Derby. They have an established reputation for quality products and excellent customer service.

The Role:

This is a hands-on role Reporting to the Finance Director and responsible for all day-to-day Financial Management and assisting in all internal and external reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly management accounts preparation, variance analysis and commentary
• Responsibility for the month end accounting close, Trial Balance, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance, and stock management
• Assist in the production of working capital reports and cash-flow forecasting and analysis
• Support the Finance Director in the budgetary planning and forecasting processes including full involvement in the annual budget and updated forecasts
• Monthly flash reporting and setting/reporting KPI's
• Ad hoc projects and the ongoing development of financial reporting processes, costing and business management systems

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• ACA/ACCA /CIMA qualified or QBE
• Analytical with excellent leadership capabilities
• Preference for strong manufacturing exposure with knowledge of costing and estimating systems (BOM, processes routings)
• You will have previously worked as a Management Accountant or Finance Manger
• A strong relationship builder you will act as Financial Business partner supporting the Finance Director and Operational teams
• IT literate with advance Excel skill (required)
• Experience in International growth
