Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to step into a leadership role Our client, a top-tier multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong national and international presence, is looking for an ambitious Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Oxford team.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll take the lead on the mechanical design and delivery of a wide variety of building services projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, science & technology, and heritage. You'll work closely with clients, guide project teams, and help drive innovation and sustainability in every design.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design across all RIBA stages

Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams

Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff

Attend client and design team meetings, offering strategic input

Deliver high-quality, compliant designs on time and within budget

Promote sustainable design practices and net zero principles

About You:

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng (IMechE or CIBSE)

Significant experience within a building services consultancy

Deep knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and public health systems

Proficient in software such as Revit, IES, Hevacomp, or similar

Strong communication and leadership skills
