Job Title: Security Service / Faults Engineer
Location: Brighton Area
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 basic (DOE) with high earnings potential + company vehicle
Job Purpose
The Security Service Engineer is responsible for servicing and performing reactive work on a variety of security systems, including Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems within the Brighton area.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing and fault finding on Intruder alarms
* Working with Access Control and Door Entry systems
* Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems (desirable)
* Experience with IP & Analogue CCTV systems and basic networking skills
* Experience with Dual Com monitoring
* Familiarity with other communication devices
* Maintenance of Emergency Lighting
* Familiarity with all NSI codes of practice and current industry standards
* Working with conventional and wireless Intruder Alarm systems
* Knowledge of major panel brands and app-based systems
Desirable Skills
* Strong technical skills in the servicing of various security systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated, organized, and efficient with time management
* Full UK driving license (essential)
* Based in or near the Brighton area

Working Hours
* Standard hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
* 1 in 9 weeks on-call (additional payment for on-call hours)
* Physical demands include working at height with ladders and flexibility to travel to various sites
