EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Assembly Fitter to join a precision engineering company located in the Nottinghamshire area, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

EMBS Engineering is in exclusive partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

Your responsibilities include:

* Working with various materials using a variety of techniques such as deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures to build and fit complex parts

* Using a variety of power and pneumatic tools such as; grinders, cutters, drills, saws, and torque wrenches to assemble parts

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Previous assembly/fitting experience in precision engineering

* Aerospace Experience would be desirable

* Previous background of working with small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, etc

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Able to use handheld, power, and pneumatic tools such as; grinders, cutters, drills, saws, torque wrenches, etc

* Experience in welding, deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures

* Previous experience with CNC Machining would also be advantageous
