About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Engineer to join our team in Slough. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the operational integrity of our critical facilities. As part of a team of engineers working on a continental shift pattern, you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance to our mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring 24/7 uptime across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on critical systems, including electrical, HVAC, UPS, and standby power systems.
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance tasks in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk management procedures.
Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs on a range of building services systems.
Maintain critical environments to ensure 100% uptime.
Coordinate with and supervise sub-contractors when required, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and records in accordance with company procedures.
Participate in emergency response and escalate issues as necessary.Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally within a critical or data centre environment.
Strong working knowledge of UPS systems, generators, HVAC, and electrical distribution systems.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with building management systems (BMS) and working to safe systems of work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Willingness to work a continental shift pattern, including both day and night shifts.What We Offer:
