Network Platform Architect (Contract)

Location: London/Leicester/RemoteContract Length: 6 monthsRate: £700Reporting to: Lead Architect

Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Network Platform Architect to join our team on a contract basis. You'll lead high-level network and security designs, provide expert 3rd line support, and deputize for the Lead Architect when needed. You'll also mentor SMEs, ensuring strong technical capabilities across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design network/security architectures and high-level designs.
• Provide 3rd line support for network/security issues.
• Act as the deputy for the Lead Architect.
• Mentor and coach SMEs, guiding best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network/Security Architect with strong high-level design skills.
• Experience in 3rd line technical support.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Leadership in mentoring technical teams.
• Relevant certifications (CCIE, CISSP) and cloud architecture experience are a plus.
