We're working with a connected and driven business to recruit a Bid Manager on the South Coast. The role will predominantly be remote working with travel to meetings with the preconstruction team, visiting sites and meeting clients.

You will be required to manage the bid process from start to finish, analysing the initial tender document and advising on whether to create a bid or not. Following this you'll work with the estimators, contracts managers and bid writers to create a strategy and successful bid.

There is a constant variation in the tenders, working on bids for new frameworks, work with existing clients and one-off special projects. These projects will comprise of highways junctions, new bridges and repairing existing structures, public realm improvements and projects with National Highways.

Key Bid Manager duties:

* Review tender documentation to understand the requirement of the client

* Preparing a bid strategy and method of how the project will be built

* Delegate tasks to other members of the preconstruction team

* Manage recruitment process for additional bid writers/estimators if required
