We require an experienced Team Leader in the North West on a Monday to Friday days role, who is capable of coordinating the maintenance activities of a team of experienced maintenance technicians, whilst simultaneously hitting pre-set maintenance targets, on a permanent basis.  

The Opportunity

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are working with the UK's leading independent maintainer and overhauler of rolling stock vehicles in the UK, who operate out of numerous strategically placed maintenance depots split across the country. Our client offers comprehensive services to Train and Freight Operating Companies, Rolling Stock Leasing Companies (ROSCOs) and Rail Vehicle & Maintenance Suppliers for modern electric and diesel trains throughout the UK with around-the-clock, 365-day-a-year operation.

The successful candidate will directly manage all activity within a bustling maintenance team carrying out heavy mechanical maintenance and overhaul activities on a variety of rolling stock vehicles.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will be working in a maintenance function within a rail environment. They must be able to lead maintenance activities across a busy depot, solve maintenance-related issues, organise themselves and others and be comfortable making decisions that will affect maintenance capabilities.

Essentials

NVQ 3 Qualified in an engineering discipline
Management experience within an engineering environment
