Salary: £31650 - £43607/annum pro rata

Quantum Scholars are proud to be working alongside a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school based in Oxfordshire who are currently seeking a passionate English Teacher. This will be for a September 2025 start. This position offers an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative teaching team dedicated to fostering a love for English and helping students achieve their full potential. This will be on a Long Term Supply Contract for 2 terms.

The school hiring are rated as a "Good" school by Ofsted. They are situated in a lovely and desirable area with great access to main public transport routes. They are committed to providing education that transforms lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and school standards.
Develop engaging lesson materials and activities that inspire creativity and critical thinking.
Monitor and assess student progress through regular marking, reporting, and feedback.
Support students in their personal and academic growth by creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in meetings, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities where required.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements.
Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for English literature and language, and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' education.
Must be available for September 2025!
