Senior Design Manager - Derbyshire - Construction

Senior Design Manager - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior deisgn manager to join a leading, tier one contractor working on a high value department of education (DofE) framework. Previous experience as a design manager in this industry is essential.

Senior Duties

*

Manage the design process during pre-construction and construction phases.

*

Interrogate enquiry documents, including Employer's Requirements.

*

Drive innovative and cost-effective solutions while progressing design issues within strict timescales.

Experience

*

Experience in delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective.

*

Ability to organise, plan, programme, and manage workloads.

*

Understanding of Building Regulations, Planning Permission procedures, and DFE projects.
