Job Title: DT Technician
Location: Brent, London
Job Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Pay rate: £15 to £18 an hour

About the Role:

Do you have experience working with hand tools and wood work or hold a degree in a design-related field (e.g. DT, Engineering or Art)?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sixth Form Independent Study Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, working closely within the secondary school, supporting the DT and Art department.

There are great transport links to the school and there is parking nearby.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist practical lessons (KS3 and KS4), which enhance students' experience of DT
Provide guidance to teaching colleagues
Support all departments within the Art, Design and Technology faculty
Promote health and safety within the department

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Engineering, DT or Art) or have experience working with hand tools and wood work
Have a genuine passion and believe in the potential of every pupil
Be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills
Experience previously working with children would be beneficial but is not essentialBenefits
