Abatec is currently looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their Maintenance team.

This will include: responding to breakdowns- reactive maintenance, conducting servicing on machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance & repairs on equipment and machinery.

* Following engineering drawings and specifications.

* Diagnose breakdown problems.

* Assist with development of new manufacturing methods.

* Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Experience

* Hold a Engineering qualification.

* Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Previous maintenance background necessary.

* Good level of understanding of Engineering Management Systems and Processes.

* Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant machinery to best practice standards to ensure production is maintained at the highest possible level.

This will be a full time permanent opportunity working various shifts (days & nights) with plenty of overtime available. Bonus scheme - attendance & performance.
